Bruce Schnitzer is a Senior Advisor to TWG, Chairman of Champalimaud Design and a General Partner of Troutbeck, a TWG portfolio company. He has been a successful private equity investor for 35+ years and serves as Chairman of Wand Partners, a private equity firm specialized in insurance and other specialty financial services. Mr. Schnitzer is also a general partner, private investor, and developer of conservation-oriented real estate and hospitality assets.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Schnitzer was President and CEO of Marsh, Inc. and previously, Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE-MMC). Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan, Mr. Schnitzer was a Vice President of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company (J.P. Morgan) where he was head of Mergers & Acquisitions.
Among Mr. Schnitzer’s non-profit roles include Chairman of The Institute of Human Origins, Director of The Litchfield Land Trust (a land conservation organization) and Director & President of The Scherr-Thoss Foundation, supporting worthy projects that protect and improve the quality of life in Litchfield, Connecticut.
Mr. Schnitzer holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin.
