Chuck Wood

Chuck Wood is TWG’s Chief Operating Officer and serves as Commercial Director of Champalimaud Design (www.champalimaud.design),  Chuck has more than thirty years of diverse experience managing architecture, design, construction, and technology companies. Chuck has extensive expertise in the hospitality industry, with a particular focus on luxury properties and international operations. He has worked in close collaboration with hotel owners, operators, architects, and design consultants and has led renowned projects in the US, Asia, Europe, India, and the Middle East.

Previously, Chuck served as the Managing Director, EMEA + Asia, for the Rockwell Group where he was responsible for project delivery, business operations, mentoring creative leadership, key client management, and new business development. He was central to the development of Rockwell’s global strategy, successfully establishing offices in Madrid, Shanghai, and Dubai. In addition, Chuck acted as a branding and strategy consultant to the firm’s hospitality clients.

Before joining Rockwell, Chuck was the Senior Manager of the campus expansion of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in New York, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Production of KPE (a premier digital interactive solutions provider for luxury, media, and entertainment clients) and a Partner and Executive Vice President at Meader Associates, Inc., a general contractor specializing in luxury retail and private residential construction in the New York area. 

Chuck is a graduate of Oberlin College with degrees in Mathematics and Music.
