With particular expertise working with institutions, non-profits and family offices, TWG/DRH provides tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of its clients.

Initially established in 1982, D.R. Horne and Company (“DRH”) has provided strategic land planning, asset management, and development services, with particular expertise in projects of natural, cultural, or historic significance.  Since 1982, DRH has been instrumental in the envisioning and delivery of some of the most iconic projects in the country, including Sundance Resort, the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, the Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve at Grand Teton National Park and the Woodstock Inn & Resort in Woodstock, VT.

The Working Group (“TWG”) was founded in 2019 as development partner to DRH, focusing on design and development management for projects that frequently begin their journey as DRH clients.  TWG projects include the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, ND, The Compton Hotel in Bentonville, AR, Troutbeck Resort in Amenia, NY, and the master planning of new visitor and administrative facilities for the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota.

The merger of DRH and TWG provides a unified and seamless suite of services for its clients, from initial visioning and strategic planning through to final development and asset management of completed projects.  DRH/TWG offers comprehensive, integrated services combined with extensive first-hand, at-risk development experience. Anchored by an exceptionally experienced and talented team, with diverse skills and industry backgrounds, DRH/TWG is positioned to provide clients with unparalleled, end-to-end expertise as an advisor, developer, sponsor and general partner.
